Will I lose all my hair after bariatric surgery?

You may lose some hair after 3-6 months of bariatric surgery. But this will be temporary and your hair will usually grow back after a few months. Eat a well-balanced healthy diet with recommended amounts of proteins, vitamins, and minerals to overcome this problem. Your doctor might advise you to take multivitamin supplements to prevent hair loss.1,2
